Although some people consider pasta a very serious topic, there is also much humor associated with the art of pasta. I know, I know they are about as corny as they could possibly get!


Anyways, here are some of my favorites...

Sometimes when I am bored, Ill make spaghetti just to pasta time away. Now that's using my noodle.

Those that forget the pasta are doomed to reheat it.

Rainbow Spaghetti

One thing I found while doing the research for this blog was this trend of making rainbow pasta. Just as many people have been experimenting with rainbow cakes, they have been doing the same with pasta. And it looks pretty easy!!

Although I have yet to try making rainbow pasta, maybe some of you have! Is it messy?? Does it taste the same as uncolored pasta?? Does it work on different shapes of pasta?? Let me know if you have ever experimented with this! Here is a video that I found describing the basics of this colorful treat!!

Pasta Variety

Pasta, like people, comes in all shapes and sizes. Some people like one type of pasta and some like other types of pasta. Similarly, some pasta shapes are good for say a casserole or a lasagna whereas some are better with red sauce or Alfredo sauce. Knowing the types of pasta is essential to not making mistakes like serving a lasagna made with linguine!!

I love penne pasta. Penne pasta to me is amazing because I love how the ridges really hold the pasta sauce and, unlike with spaghetti, the marinara sauce doesn't slide right off. What is your favorite type of pasta?? Do you know the name of it??!?!? If not check out a few of the possibilities below...

Who doesn't like pasta???

Unless you have some sort of gluten allergy, pasta is likely a staple of your diet. Pasta is a diverse and amazing type of food ranging from ramen noodles to spaghetti to lasagna. All around the world, pasta is eaten in all sorts of fashions.

Personally, I am a huge fan of lasagne and shell pasta.

And to all of you who say that pasta is the same in all different shapes...YOU ARE WRONG... for example, in my opinion, spaghetti is vastly inferior to fusilli pasta (if you dont know what this is...wait for the rest of my posts and you will soon be an expert).
